I absolutely love this song! SELF-LOVE has to be one of the best kinds of love EVER!!!!!!! If you can’t love yourself, you definitely can’t love anyone else! <3<3<3***
“Read, every day, something no one else is reading. Think, everyday, something no one else is thinking. Do, every day, something no one else would be silly enough to do. It is bad for the mind to continually be part of unanimity.” ~Christopher Morley~
So, finals are finally over!!!!!!! And I can FINALLY get back to doing one of my ‘favoritest’ things to do……READ (oh, and blogging)! :) Well, my first book back in is “Inside Of A Dog: What Dogs See, Smell, and Know” by Alexandra Horowitz. I found it seemingly appropriate, considering I have a German shepherd (Porter) & Siberian husky (Skylar) who have been, in a sense, neglected from my attention and time for the past few weeks due to the life of a student trying to get into med school soon. So, I figured this would be my first read, and it is already turning out to be the perfect choice. Horowitz, a cognitive scientist, “explains how dogs perceive their daily worlds, each other, and humans.” This is great read for any dog lover or for anyone who would like to just understand or learn more about dogs in general. I think Horowitz pretty much sums everything up when she says “…..I can’t imagine my life without my dogs.”***
